Project madness:
full-day testing session with users.

We tested our MVP to validate the concept and the whole experience.

PREPARING THE TEST

We designed the entire experience to reach our testing goals.

We used the Narrative Arc principles to create the user experience.

BEFORE THE EXPERIENCE

Starting the experience with an introductive video to keep the attention of the audience in our project.

DURING THE EXPERIENCE

We showed a first video to immerse the user in 2035, showing a future life context.

DURING THE EXPERIENCE

A 30s video was shown to users to trigger a specific emotion, which was essential to start tracking its initial state.

Trigger happiness

Trigger sadness

DURING THE EXPERIENCE

We mapped the users' condition, giving them an output in sound and light, to change their emotional state.

Light system

Sound system

An immersive experience to recreate
the adaptive internal car environment.

AFTER THE EXPERIENCE

We showed a final video to explain the experience to the user.

AFTER THE EXPERIENCE

At the end we printed a card to the user, summarising the user's emotions perceived during the experience.

WHAT WE COLLECTED

A total of 28 people were tested during the experience and were asked to fill a survey

WHAT USERS SAID

“Impressive actually, you don’t feel like the system is reading you and that’s good”

"...but I would expect some kind of feedback on the screen too, like, I've detected that you're stressed, maybe reading these things will help."

"The most immersive experience"

IMPROVEMENTS

After feedback, we improved the experience by adding a voice assistant, which supports the understanding of changes in the environment.
